Required:
- Crampons or MicroSpikes
- Helmet
- Ice ax
- Headlamp with good batteries
- Overnight gear (tent/bivy, sleeping bag, pad, etc.)
- Harness (such as a webbing harness tied with a water knot)
- Locking carabiner
- Cord loop (for a klemheist or prusik)
- Orange NW Forest Pass for each vehicle
Optional/Recommended:
- Snowshoes
- Avalanche gear (metal shovel, probe, beacon)
- GPS unit

This is a 2-day 1-night scramble, camping on snow.
We'll camp Sat night on or just below the summit.
Sunrise at 7:45am, sunset at 5pm.

This peak is normally climbed in a day but we'll do it as an overnight because snowcamping is fun! :)

We'll only do this trip if the avalanche conditions are safe and if the weather forecasts are friendly (friendly = no storms, no high winds, no rain at camp, and no single-digit temps). If the trip is canceled then there won't be an alternate destination.

When to meet:
Sat 10am (we'll leave the cars and start hiking then)
Where to meet:
Trailhead, elev 2880 ft (or as far as the snow allows)
