7:00 AM at Issaquah Transit Center
This trip is about 8-10 miles long with 3,000’ elevation gain. The goal is to scramble Mt Margaret, which is southeast of I-90 exit 54. A snow park permit is required. We’ll be parking at Gold Creek Snow Park.

NOTE: This is a winter scramble and sign-up is limited to people that have graduated from the Scramble and/or Basic Climbing classes. Sorry, but students of those classes are not eligible.

Meet inside the Issaquah Transit Center parking garage on the first floor in the Northeast corner at 7:00 AM.

- Ice Axe is always required.

- Snowshoes with aggressive points on the bottom such as MSR are required.

- Avalanche Beacon is optional but is highly recommended on all winter trips.

- Avalanche shovel and/or probe are optional, but we should have 4 of each for the group.
