See online list of required equipment. Good off-trail (while wearing snowshoes) fitness required. This is not the kind of winter scramble where you hike on a trail to the summit. Rather, it is a true winter scramble that will likely involve breaking trail and engaging navigation. And if we get lucky with the weather, spectacular views all around.

We will start from the Hyak overflow parking lot. We will travel to nordic pass. Then we will scramble Mt Catherine via the west ridge.

As with all winter trips, weather conditions may dictate a late change of destination.

Registration closes at 7 PM on Thursday, December 21. If you need to cancel, please do so by this time.
