Quilcene Ranger Station 7:30am to caravan to TH . High clearance vehicles recommended.
See Required Equipment, Read all the leader notes. It is 5 miles with 3700 ft of elevation gain from the upper TH to camp. If we end up with a lower road start, be prepared for additional mileage and gain. The goal is camping in snow East of Marmot Pass. Summiting Buckhorn and or Point 6294 as conditions permit. Adverse conditions such as High winds, significant precip may cancel trip with no alternate destination offered. If the forecast has better weather we will move the trip to Sun. and Mon.
We will be following Mountaineers' covid -19 protocol. Bring hand sanitizer and a cloth face mask. Mask must be worn when within 6' of others. If the group is sharing a stove and water purification to save weight we will require additional diligence to keep us all safe. Individual tenting unless with someone in your own Covid bubble.
