7:30 AM at the start of the trail. Discover Pass required if parking inside the gated area. Note that the gate *should* be open at this time but sunrise isn't until around 8 AM. We're starting early in case folks have evening plans with family and because... well... crowds of insanity.
Leader Permission is not required, but my goal is a round trip time < 3 hours, so if that sounds insane, this is probably not the trip for you.
We'll go up the old trail for certain. We will decide as a group if we want to go down the old or new trail. When I go down the new trail I usually run, so my guess is people will prefer the old trail.
