'Howson Peak' is the informal name of the 5,440' closed contour on the ridge between Sasse Mountain and Hex Mountain about 1 mile southwest of Sasse Mountain.

While Howson Peak will work in a variety of conditions, be aware that weather, snow and road conditions are very changeable this time of year and could cause a late change of destination.  Drivers will need a snow park permit
