We will be hiking the Boundary Trail from the Carbon River Ranger Station to the pass near Florence Peak. Expect to gain 2,700 feet in 2 miles . Map: USGS Golden Lakes. You will need your pack (25-40 lb for basic, 20 lb for scrambles), and hiking gear. You might also want your crampons and snowshoes, but we will not know for sure until we get to the snow. Dress for the weather. Meeting times and places: (1). 7am, Pine Cone Restaurant for breakfast. On the corner of W.27 and Locust, University Place (southwest Tacoma) or (2). 8am, 6th Ave Park and Ride S.6th and MacArthur, adjacent to Swasey Library Tacoma (Carpools formed here)
