Strenuous winter scramble of ~15 miles and ~5000' to Lizard Head Peak. Bring ice axe, snowshoes, crampons, helmet, winter 10 essentials, and fresh headlamp batteries. Will use north ridge from Barnes creek to avoid avalanche prone slopes traversed by summertime trail.
