Winter vista of North Cascades from Pt 5072 (just south of where summer trail crosses ridge to Thornton Lakes). Trip requires great conditioning owing to ~4000' total elevation gain and ~12 miles. Map showing approximate route can be seen here. Photos can be seen here.
