Winter Scramble - Dixie Peak

Koppen Mountain is in the Teanaway on the ridge to the south of the Teanaway River road.

Koppen Mountain is feasible under a variety of conditions, but (as we discovered earlier) it is possible that weather and snow conditions will dictate a late change of plans.  The idea is to approach Koppen from the east, starting at the Johnson Creek TH.  Topo gives this 10 miles and 3,500' of elevation gain.
