Meet at the South Renton Park and Ride South End of lot at 6:00 AM
NOTE: This is a "Winter Scramble". Participants must be a graduate of the Scrambling course or the Basic Climbing course.
90% of people headed up past Longmire will go to Paradise and the ridge up toward Camp Muir. We will avoid the crowds by going further east. We will park at Narada Falls (4400') and follow the snowshoe trail up to Mazama Ridge, then up the ridge past the "Paradise Caves" to Cowlitz Rocks 7450'. On the way down, we will stay to the east and loop around Reflection Lakes.
NOTE: The standard text for this destination includes the words skiing and snowboarding. Please disregard that. This group will be strictly snowshoes!
