This will be a fun, but long day. Be prepared to help with navigation and trail breaking. The amount of snow we'll encounter is unknown.
The goal is to summit both Chutla & Eagle.
Switching from summer to shoulder season now it is important that you are prepared for an unplanned overnight in the event of an accident. Bring a bivy, warm clothes, extra food, etc. Also, be prepared to return to the trailhead via headlamp (though we plan to return in daylight).
We will go at a moderate, but steady pace with short breaks as needed.
