7:00 AM at Issaquah Transit Center Park and Ride
If avalanche conditions are low or moderate below 6000, we will attempt Defiance. If they are considerable we will go up Bandara, (which has a safer SW ridge. If the conditions are high, we will just go up to Mason Lake.

We will park at I-90 exit 42 and go straight up the hill east Mason Creek to the summer trail head. We will then follow the summer trail to where it again crosses Mason creek and then follow the old trail up toward Mason Lake. From there we will go up either Defiance or Bandara depending on conditions.

For those that attempted this with me last year, I think there will now be enough snow to go up the boulder field and avoid that really steep slope.

Meet inside the transit center parking garage on the first floor in the Northeast corner at 7:00 AM
