Expect snow above 4000 ft. The ridge system is not done often, we will judge our turn around time to put us back on a snow free trail by dark, at the latest. Plan to come out under headlamp. We will be traveling at a steady, moderate pace, within everyone's comfort level.
Make sure to read the Mountaineers Covid-19 guidelines before registering for this trip. This is a Phase 2 trip. All participants will need to have a face covering (mask, bandanna or muff), hand sanitizer. Where ever possible all group member will maintain the 6ft minimum social distancing protocol and be ready to pull up face covering over mouth and nose when this is not possible.
If you did not follow the CDC guidelines, and recommendations during Thanksgiving, please do not sign up for this trip. I’m especially making this request in the interests of those of us who are in high risk groups.
