We'll meet at University District P-Patch, 4009 8th Ave, NE, at 9 am, and walk over Capitol Hill to Madison Valley, ending at Madison Valley P-Patch. The starting place is a few blocks from the U-District link station, and after the walk we can take bus 11, which runs up E. Madison St.
This is the second of twelve walks through Seattle's P-Patches. We'll visit eleven P-Patches, and see a bit more of UW Farm. A couple of the P-Patches on this walk have small homeless encampments next to them, so we may just walk past them, depending on the situation. We'll stop for restroom and snack breaks as needed.
