Urban Walk - Seattle Olmsted 70: Section 11, Loop
We start and finish this urban night walk near the Seattle Foot Ferry terminal exploring numerous public art installations on our way to the Pike Place Market and Sculpture Garden. The return from Myrtle Edward Park (beach) is along the Elliott Bay Trail through the 2024-25 Overlook Park and outide the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion.

This will be the second test walk of this new Loop Option for Section 11 of the Seattle Olmsted 70. I'm hoping we can inventory public art and figure out good ways to explore the Overlook Walk--great reviews in the national press. Sculptors, painters, theatre critics, line dancers, fabulists and alto sax players are all welcome but no performances are expected.
Meet at the somewhat concealed Pioneer Square Habitat Beach -- just south of the Foot Ferry Terminal at 5:45 pm. Parking downtown can be expensive -- still business hours. But many public transit options are at hand (including ferry travel).
