Urban Walk - Seattle Olmsted 70: Section 11

This early morning urban walk will start at Pioneer Square Habitat Beach. The route will take us through Pike Place Market downtown and we will reconnect with the waterfront on the Elliot Bay Trail starting at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Our finish line will be near the Magnolia Village Pub.

This walk is open to walkers of all skill and experience levels who are capable of walking at a sustained pace of 2.0 mph. We plan to start the walk at 8:00 AM. The walk will feature a morning stroll through the market, views of the new promenade and Elliot Bay, and a low-tide beach walk! There will be water and snack breaks, as well as opportunities to stop and take pictures. Join us for a relaxed and sociable Sunday morning walk in this beautiful city!

Walkers can return to the starting point via bus route 24.

Meet shortly before 8:00 AM at Pioneer Square Habitat Beach (47.601285, -122.336374) on Alaskan Way S just south of Yesler Way downtown. There are numerous public transit options which will get you near to the starting point.
