Join us on Super Bowl Sunday morning for a super scenic, super flat urban walk along Tacoma's Commencement Bay! Not into the sports ball? Leader will offer several suggestions for afternoon adventuring.

Out-and-back walk from Dune Peninsula to Chinese Reconciliation Park. Member and guest participants of any activity are welcome, as long as you are properly clothed and shod, equipped with the Ten Essential Systems, and comfortable with the distance and pace. Experienced participants are welcome and encouraged to pack additional weight and/or break in new gear. Photo-friendly trip. Sorry, no dogs allowed. We will walk in rain or shine, but heavy snow or icy road conditions will cancel.

Dune Peninsula, 8:00 a.m, carpooling encouraged, no pass required, flush toilets available. Group will set out NLT 8:15 a.m. (Pierce Transit routes 10 and 11 go to/from the nearby Point Defiance Ferry Terminal, but Sunday bus service doesn't start until mid-morning.)
