If you arrive early, restrooms are located in the Community Center. Be ready to leave by 9:00 am. We will begin on the Cedar River Trail after leaving the Community Center.

On the Trail:
We will need to keep to the right of the trail as it’s shared with other walkers, runners, cyclists, and other wheeled devices. We will be crossing multiple streets, walking on sidewalks and need to be mindful of uneven pavement. Be ready for any weather, raingear will be a good idea and sturdy shoes, or boots are highly recommended. Bring a bottle of water and snack and we will stop to enjoy once we reach Lake Washington.

This walk will be at a steady pace, about 2 mph. It is suitable for anyone who can easily walk up and down slanted sidewalks, mindful when crossing busy streets, intermittent traffic noise, uneven pavement and whatever the weather delivers.
