Urban Walk - Fremont
Come enjoy the Center of the Universe during Winter Solstice (or almost)! Our route takes us to the Troll and the Lenin statue, then on to Stumbletown and Phinney Ridge before returning to Fremont.

Starting in Fremont, we will visit the Troll and the Lenin statue before walking south to the Burke-Gilman trail. We will then head northwest and wind our way to Stumbletown (West Woodland). When we reach NW 65th Street, we will climb the hill to the top of Phinney Ridge. The final leg of our route turns south, walking along the ridge before we return to Fremont.
After we complete our walk, lunch in the Fremont neighborhood is an option for those who are interested.
Meet shortly before 9:00 am with packs on and ready to walk. We will meet on the corner of North 34th Street and Fremont Ave North in front of Starbucks. Parking in the Fremont neighborhood is limited; for metro service, refer to transit app.

Water, snacks, appropriate outerwear, and sturdy shoes.
