Meet directly in front of the Conservatory entrance at 9:30 am on Oct. 1, 2017
This 2 hour field trip to the Volunteer Park Conservatory will provide you with a wide variety of macro photography subjects, from tropical flowers to desert cactus. Practice your close-up skills using depth of field and natural light to create beautiful images.
We will NOT be visiting the cemetery, only the conservatory.
The cost is $4.00 for admission, cash or cards accepted. Parking is free and generally available early in the morning.
Meet directly in front of the conservatory entrance at 9:30 am. I will be wearing a burgundy baseball cap with MT on it. We will briefly discuss what to expect, then enter at 10:00 am.
The field trip will last 2 hours, but your admission is good for all day. Try to pack light, with just camera and macro lens. It gets crowded on weekends and you won't want a pack. Tripods are NOT allowed on weekends.
Required Equipment
Camera, Macro lens or camera with macro capability, extra batteries, $4.00 for admission.
