Walking at a moderate/slow pace, we’ll take time to smell the rhodies, stop at a few of the little book and art libraries to look at/take/deposit books/art, and to ooh and ahh at the shishi-odoshi. Optional: please bring books and little art work that you can part with to deposit in the libraries. FYI: 68 steps down between 1st Avenue N. and Queen Anne Avenue N. Good solid railings.

At mile 2.5 we’ll take a rest and restroom break at Trader Joe’s. Cookies will be served and we’ll enjoy whimsical sculpture and divine mosaics depicting Queen Anne scenes.
