Urban Adventure - Three Volcanoes Cabin

Note that this is an overnight trip from Saturday to Sunday, but cannot be listed for two days on the website because then it conflicts with Sunday activities.  However, it is for two days, with departure time from cabin by mid-morning on Sunday.

Instructions will be provided for arriving at the cabin between 4-6pm on Saturday for evening activities and communal dinner.  A day hike may be planned for parties interested in a Saturday outing.

Sunday will involve a mid-morning departure to White Pass for a family cross country ski trip, separately listed.  Priority for cabin will be given to participants in this outing but others are welcome to overnight and plan their own Sunday adventure.

Three Volcanoes Cabin is an off the grid cabin with a usually functioning bathroom, running water, and electricity.  Cooking and heating are by woodstove. The kitchen is well equipped.

The elevation is 1500 feet so the snow conditions are more like Olympia than White Pass.  However, there is a 2.5 mile dirt road to access the cabin. Four wheel drive high clearance vehicles are desirable to get all the way to the cabin.

Evening games, readings, stories, and music are encouraged.  This is an electronics free cabin (except for music).
