Rainier for snow activities or take a lowland hike.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

Meet at 5pm at the coffee stand at the corner of hwy 131 and hwy 12 in Randle, across the street from the Mt. Adams restaurant.  From there we will caravan to the cabin, 15 minutes away.  Instructions for driving to the cabin yourself will be available in case rendezvous has problems.  A four wheel drive vehicle is needed to get to the cabin but other vehicles can park 200 feet away at the bottom of the hill.  A high clearance vehicle is desirable.

Departure time is by 11 on Sunday.

Consider combining with https://www.mountaineers.org/activities/activities/urban-adventure-white-pass-nordic-center? day at White Pass.

The goal for this event is a relaxed social event in a fun environment.

The cabin has a great room with woodstove, a sleeping loft, running hot and cold water, and one bathroom.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with propane stove, potable water, dishes and staples.

Bring games or books for evening.

Although there is Verizon cell phone coverage at the cabin, we maintain no electronic activities except music.
