DAY 2 OF SOUTHWEST WA WEEKEND - BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR DAY 1!
- Breakfast on own at Maryhill State Park, then leave park by 8am.
- Stop at Maryhill Stonehenge to photograph the structure and the nearby Columbia River. There is also a wind turbine farm to the north to photograph (1.5 hours).
- We'll leave Maryhill and head to Horsetail Falls (OR) on I-84 to photograph the large waterfall there (30 minutes).
- From I-84, we'll head north on I-5, stopping at the Country Cousin Restaurant in Centralia for lunch (or brunch, depending on the time).
- Continuing along I-5, we'll next stop at Bob's Java Jive in Tacoma to photograph this unique building (that looks like a huge coffee pot) (30 minutes).
- After we leave Bob's Java Jive, we'll head home, stopping at the Green Lake Park & Ride at 65th St. to drop off people, as necessary. Those who joined us at the Eastgate Park & Ride will continue on to their own home.
