Meet at 8:00 am in Friday Harbor at the ferry dock to take 8:30 ferry to Shaw Island.

This hike and English Camp, Bell Point, Young Hill hike on May 17 and American Camp, Mount Finlayson, and Cattle Point on May 18 are the culmination of Julie Miller's (miller.jz@comcast.net   206-283-1406) and Kathy Biever's (eskay39@comcast.net  206-283-9047) 4-years-long Island Hikes Series. 

Leaders will stay at Friday Harbor Suites at 680 Spring Street Friday Harbor, WA 98250. Each hiker will make own reservations by calling the hotel at 360-378-3031. Identify yourself as part of the Seattle Mountaineers group in order to get these discounted rates: Single @$165.75+tax, Double @$178.50+tax, Two-bedroom, Two-bath @$238+tax.

Possible to stay a minimum of 2 nights May 17 & 18 and still do all 3 hikes. More relaxing to stay 1 night before and 1 night after.

We'll have an Island Hikes Series celebratory Grand Finale dinner on WED, May 18. Plans are in the making for a tour of U of W's Marine Lab on FRI, May 20. Stay tuned.
