Meet at 10:30 a.m. at the covered picnic area on the second level on the right, between the beach and the parking lot.
The road to the parking lot is long and winding; parking is free. The entry to the park is on the left, when you're facing the water, at the end of the parking area. There is a short cement path, partway leading to the beach; the other part is loose, dry sand. It is a moderate incline, both going down and returning back up. There is about a mile of beach walk to explore, with logs to sit on or level places to put a sand chair, if you choose to bring one. We'll eat lunch on the beach or in the upper picnic area so bring a sack lunch.
Required Equipment
