Urban Adventure - Millersylvania State Park
Solstice Bonfire and Flashlight Walk for Families! Join us in our annual celebration of the shortest day of the year at the group campsite at Millersylvania. Celebrate the return of the light by helping us build and light our giant campfire. Then enjoy hot soup and cocoa and a story before taking a flashlight walk.

We will be convening at the group campsite at Millersylvania at 5:00 to begin building the fire. Group lighting will happen at 5:30, dinner at 6:00, walk at 6:30, story and dessert at 7:00.
A Discover Pass is Required.
Soup and vegetarian chili provided along with hot cocoa and cider.
The group campsite is open air but there is a nice structure adjacent that is covered.
This is our Family Group fall social, so we hope you can attend!
We will cancel if the weather conditions are unsafe (windstorm), the rain is prolific, or there is too much snow for good access.
Required Equipment
Dress warmly with good shoes for stability and rain gear for likely sprinkles.
Mess kit and water bottle for each participant.
Please bring a side dish of breads or salads or dessert.
Flashlights or headlamps.
