Urban Adventure - Millersylvania State Park
This is a families only hike and cookout. We will learn fire safety and fire starting skills in order to start our dinner fire. While the coals heat up we will take a Choose your own Adventure hike on the maze of trails before returning to cook your favorite campfire foods.

You will need a Discover Pass.
This is your chance to experiment with campfire cooking! Bring something that will work on the coals and not take up too much room. Sticks are fine!
We will be making campfire desserts after dinner.
For ideas, talk to the leader of check out our branch library for campfire cooking!
We will be spacing into family groups for eating and following the latest CDC and Mountaineers COVID guidelines.
Required Equipment
Cooking ingredients and equipment as desired.
Simple packs for short hike. Water, spare clothing, good walking shoes.
