Urban Adventure - Foothills Trail
Family Urban Adventure to the Melmont Ghost Town. The Melmont Ghost Town is just south of Carbonado on the future Foothills Trail extension. This is not a paved trail but is a former railroad grade. Please see description below for additional information. Open to families with elementary aged children or slightly younger kids who are well prepared.

The Olympia branch banquet is that evening at 5pm, so we will need to return at a reasonable time.
This is a hike for families with elementary aged children. Well prepared younger children are welcome for this activity. We will probably go about 4 miles round trip as the first remnants of the town are seen about 1 mile into the hike.
