Required Equipment

Required Equipment

Water, snacks.

Warm layers.

RAIN GEAR- coat and pants.  Even more effective: WADERS.

Tall rubber boots.  Even better: Insulated boots.  (Thick socks & extra socks work well too.)

A bucket or razor clam net to hold your razor clams.

All participants (including adults) will be required to wear a life vest for this activity.  (Leader will have life vests available for all participants).  Bring your life vest if you have one that fits you well.

Life vests are not only for your safety (as once you get clamming it is easy to forget about the crashing waves), the life vest also KEEPS YOU WARM.
