Info
COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers activity.
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

Meet at the Green Lake Park & Ride at 8:30am for an 8:45 departure. Please don't be late and have others waiting on you.

If you are closer to Belfair than the Park & Ride, you can meet us outside the junkyard at 10am (please send me an email to let me know you will meet us there).

PLEASE DON'T REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE NOTES BELOW, YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE AND THE MEETING TIME AND LOCATION WORK FOR YOU.

If you are hoping for a ride, you will have a better chance if you set your profile to "Open" and provide carpool information such as the area you live in and  locations you can reach by transit to meet a driver. Discuss compensation for gas ahead of the trip. It is your responsibility to find carpool options...not the leader's.

BY REGISTERING, THIS LEADER CONSIDERS YOU MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE TRIP. It's only good form to cancel in the event of an injury, illness or an emergency. Even if there are people on the wait list it's often difficult to move them up close to the trip date. THANK YOU!

------------

Here's your chance to get out of the house and photograph something different from the typical nature/landscape photos Mountaineers usually take. The Proshow winner at the NWCCC conference this year won with a show on the cars she photographed at this junkyard. Besides old cars to photograph, I'm sure we will find all kinds of things to take photos of.

Bring your tripod along for this photography trip. Since weather can change a lot this time of year, bring wet weather gear. You'll want to protect your camera from getting wet!

Plan to spend at least two hours at the junkyard.
