Fun after-work run with power hike up and easy jog down, on a loop at Cougar Mountain. Great recovery and/or a conditioning activity for climbers and runners of all levels. Beginner friendly!

We will meet at the Jim Whittaker Wilderness Peak Trailhead at 6:45pm. No parking pass required.  Please be ready to start promptly.

Directions from I-90

Take Exit 15 and drive south on SR-900 (17th Avenue NW and then Renton-Issaquah Road SE) for 3.3 miles. Look for the trailhead sign and an asphalt driveway that goes uphill to the right.

  • This is a dog-friendly run - leader permission required to bring your dog. Please contact the leader to confirm.
  • Please bring head lamp and extra batteries. The sun will set during this run and we'll be coming back in the dark.
  • This run will take place rain or shine - make sure you have weather-appropriate layers.
