Frontcountry Trail Run - Wilderness Peak Loop
We will run through second growth forest with ferns, creeks, rustic bridges and moss covered boulders. Then cross the ferry tail like marshy area on a rustic boardwalk We will also hit the highest point of the Cougar by reaching Wilderness Peak at 1,598 feet. The total route is about 7 miles with 2,300 elevation gain. We will go moderate pace and hike up a lot of the uphills (with a fun run down on the way back!).
