Please be ready to start at 2:00pm.
A Discovery Pass is required to park here.

Directions from the WTA:
I-90 to Exit 15 (WA 900 / 17th Ave NW). Take this road south; if you've been traveling eastbound on I-90 that's a right turn off the interstate. The road will become Renton-Issaquah Road SE. About 4 miles from the interstate, turn left on May Valley Road. Drive 2.5 miles to a large sign for Squak Mountain State Park on your left.

We will start from the May Valley trailhead and go up towards the Bullitt fireplace approximately 2 miles (one-way) to the wooden gate where equestrian access ends. We will go at an easy to moderate pace and hike as needed on the uphill. When we turn around, we will enjoy a nice, gentle run down on the way back! Fun downhill running. We will cover just over 4 miles total (4.3 miles). Although it can be muddy at Squak, this trail is usually not super muddy. This trail is equestrian-friendly and dog-friendly so we may encounter horses and dogs.
