We will meet at the Lake Youngs trailhead at 16145 SE Old Petrovisky Road, Renton, WA 98058 at 9:00am. we will aim to start right on time. No parking pass is needed to park here, there's plenty of parking. I will be in the silver Subaru in front of the park bathrooms.
Our route takes us from the trailhead parking lot clockwise in a big circle around the reservoir at Lake Youngs. Distance is just over 9 miles with about 900 feet of gain. We will have the option to turn around at various points along the way, if conditions are too difficult and/or if the group decides this would be a good plan. We will aim to keep moving at a good and steady pace (with reasonable breaks for snacks/drinks/gear adjustments), nobody will be left behind.
