An evening of easy climbing at Farside crags. Area's to be considered are Sunshine Vista and Interstate park. This trip is intended to give Tacoma Basic climb students practice climbing on real rock. Tacoma Basic climb students have priority until Monday June 9 at 6 PM after that trip is open to everyone.
The current forecast is showing Thursday to be a cooler day with cloud cover and a slight chance of rain. If the forecast does go to rain or a higher possibility of rain we may have to cancel or postpone this trip.
Please bring a headlamp in case we do end up hiking out in the dark.
Exit 38 Farside crags, Dirty Harry's Balcony trail head at 4:30 PM.
A discover pass is required to park here.
Required Equipment
Harness, belay device, personal anchor, rock shoes.
Headlamp for hiking out in the dark if needed.
Assistant leaders, please bring a rope and anchor materials.
