Dirty Harry’s Balcony Trailhead at 10am. https://goo.gl/maps/vSbCvtC6729goxcf6. Drivers will need a Discover Pass.

Participants should have experience belaying a climber on top rope.  Assistant leaders should be able to lead belay and to lead sport routes.

We’ll climb various sport routes. Exact routes and grade will depend upon participant interest and skills.  We’ll likely start in the Sun Vista Slab or Headlight Point area.

We’ll plan to return to the cars around 3pm.

Note that to be consistent with latest climbing "best practices", I am requiring that you use an assisted braking device (ADB) belay device on this trip.  If you don't have one, let me know ahead of time and you may be able to borrow one.  Examples include: Grigri, Pilot, Jul.

Here's a link to some additional info on appropriate ABD devices: https://www.sourceclimbing.com/abd
