Trail Head in campground
Direction: Take I90 east to Exit 42(Tinkham). Go right (south) on Tinkham Rd for 1.7 miles to the Discovery Campground and park on the road. You can park in the campground provided you check first with the campground host so that they have your car tag id. The trail is in the campground a short distance east (right) of the entrance. Come prepared ... USFS regulations require volunteers to wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots (no sandals or Tevas),long pants and long sleeved shirts and bring work gloves, your lunch and water. Hard hats will be provided along with a concise informative demonstration on Tool Safety before heading up the trail to the different work sites guided by trained crew leaders.
