This will be a trip to tie up the loose ends for this year's maintenance. We will be staying in the Lookout as long as there is work to be done. Contact leader to coordinate tools and group gear. The goals for the weekend are: Have fun. Carry in at least 1 more rafter (2 preferred). Install at least 2 rafters, sistered to the the original rafters (requires removal of prior sistered rafters). Repair broken lightning conductor on west side of roof ridge. Move materials and supplies from Tin Can Gap to the Lookout. Carry out 1 of the Osborne Maps for USFS. Install small back porch shutter. Build western shutter on south side. Install western shutter on south side. Build last shutter. Install new shutter hardware. Install new window latches. Fix the missing window putty. Repair the door threshold Paint if the forecast is favorable with over-night temps over 50 F. If we only get the first 6 items done, that will be good.
