We will be working with CNLM staff and volunteers and members of the Nisqually Land Trust to dig up invasive tree seedlings (Douglas Fir, Shore Pine) on the Tenalquot Prairie. We will be potting these seedlings so that they can be outplanted on riparian restoration projects on NLT lands. In addition to bringing the ten essentials, you may want to bring a pair of old rain pants or knee pads as much of the work will be done on our knees. If we finish with the tree salvage early there will be an opportunity to pull scotch broom. Interested folks are also welcome to take a wild prairie tree (or a few) for a Christmas tree. Work will begin at Tenalquot Prairie at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm.
