Stewardship - Stevens Lodge

Join us as we work some much needed lodge maintenance. We will be cleaning up construction debris from the bathroom project and other projects. We will also be making preparations for our new propane tank. It is a win-win for the lodge and all our community that uses it. This will be a fun way to meet other Mountioneers and help maintain an historic Northwest treasure. This is a two day project. You are welcome to come up Friday night and Saturday night if are working one or both days. Bring a sleeping bag and pillow. Friday night dinner will is bring your own all other meals provided. Come and join us!

SAFETY

  • If you are feeling unwell on the day-of, please stay home to be on the safe side, and please cancel on the website so we know not to account for you.
  • Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
  • Gloves, glasses and earplugs will be available on-site, however, if you have your own PPE (especially gloves) that fit well, please do bring them.

LOGISTICS

  • Getting to the cabin: when traveling East on HWY 2, turn right into the first parking lot at Stevens Pass, it is immediately BEFORE the ski resort lodges. If you pass the ski resort lodges on the right, you've gone too far.
  • The entrance to get to the cabin off the highway is gated. We will have a volunteer standing at the gate from 8:45-9:15 to let participants in.
  • All participants MUST PARK in lot 4 (next to the snow-cats). We need the access road from the lot to the cabin clear for trucks. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the cabin- you get to the access road by walking to shipping containers in the SE corner of the parking lot, then following the road next to them up and to the right.
