Help SHADOW beautify our 100 acre preserve and wetland bog by maintaining trails, removing invasive weeds, and pruning native species.

Restoration Work Parties take place at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve (21656 184th Ave SE, Renton WA 98058).
9 AM- 1 PM SHIFT 1
1 PM- 5 PM SHIFT 2
This week is our annual frog frolic! Note: after signing up on the Mountaineers, please email me at cordelia@shadowhabitat.org to let me know which shift you will be working. See bellow for descriptions.
SHIFT 1- Work party 9 am- 1 pm- This work party will be setting up and doing facilities maintenance tasks for the outdoor event. We will be working hard and have tasks to suit every skill set and ability level! Come help us move equipment, set up tents and tarps, move tables, prune our boardwalk, and more. Through YOUR help, SHADOW will educate and connect with the community and earn money for our yearly programming.
SHIFT 2- Frog Frolic 1 pm- 5 pm- Volunteer at the Frog Frolic- we will need help from volunteers- helping with facilities, leading a craft, and more! The event is a Community Fair with a food truck, live band, Forest Bathing Walks, Bog Tours, games, and more!
