Work hard, have fun, and practice skills like building trail, removing invasive species, planting native plants, and caring for the Nature Preserve by joining our weekly Volunteer Work Parties! Work Party tasks change weekly and always include a walk through our 5,000-year-old bog.

This week is our annual Frog Frolic.

SHIFT 1 -This work party will be  setting up and doing facilities maintenance tasks for the big event. We will be working hard and have tasks to suit every skill set and ability level! Come help us move equipment, set up tents and tarps, move tables and more. Through YOUR help, SHADOW will educate and connect with the community and earn money for our yearly programming. 

Work party 10 am- 2 pm

Frog Frolic 1-5 pm
SHIFT 2- Volunteer at the Frog Frolic- we will need help from volunteers- helping with facilities, leading a craft, pouring beer, and more! The event is a Community Fair with a food truck, live band, Forest Bathing Walks, Bog Tours, games, and more!
