Become a steward of SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve's most famous trail. Trim ferns, prune native species, and pull invasive weeds along the boardwalk trail through SHADOW Lake Bog. Join SHADOW staff in cleaning the grating and get the bog looking beautiful for our biggest celebration, the Frog Frolic!

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

Restoration Work Parties take place Saturdays from 10am to 2pm at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve (21656 184th Ave SE, Renton WA 98058). 

Restoration Work Parties take place Saturdays from 10am to 2pm at SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve. No previous experience or tools are required, simply arrive with weather-proof clothing for working outside, a water bottle, and a smile. Please be aware that you may encounter muddy areas and plants with thorns. These events are held, rain or shine!
