Stewardship - Pratt River Connector & CCC Trails

Join The Mountaineers and The Mountains to Sound Greenway Second Saturday Stewardship Event!

  • Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 2.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 200 ft

Our main task will involve carrying out old treated wood that has been stashed along the trail, leftover from previous structure construction projects. This will be a fairly strenuous event, involving hiking about a mile while carrying pieces of treated lumber. Come ready to hike! We will also address drainage issues along the trail and cut back encroaching vegetation.

Moderate to Strenuous. Ages 14 and up.

To Join this activity, RSVP to this posting, and then complete the Mountains to Sound Waiver link:  Volunteer Signup

We will start promptly at 9, so please arrive by 8:45 to check in with the Mountaineers Stewardship Leader and Mountains to Sound Greenway.  We will take a break for lunch and end at 3 pm.

Volunteers will meet and park at the Middle Fork trailhead: https://goo.gl/maps/VGyjGdSvq5o
