We have obtained permission from the Department of Natural Resources to remove the 7 downed trees on this short but beautiful trail in Capital Forest. This is a great opportunity to use our crosscut sawing skills in our own backyard.

We will meet at the Haggen's Parking lot on April 25th, at 8:15AM for the drive to Porter Falls Trailhead in Capital Forest. The drive is approximately 45 minutes to the trailhead. Bring lunch, work gloves, sturdy work boots, long sleeves and pants, your own hard hat if you have one. There will also be extras available. Crosscut cut saws and small saws and lopers will be brought along.
Regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The branch will be able to provide Hard Hats, a dozen pairs of safety glasses, slip resistant gloves, a few pairs of leather gloves.
