The City of Montesano owns a nearly 5,000 acre forest immediately north of the City and within the City Limits. It is operated for multi-use goals, including sustained income, recreation, and fish and wildlife habitat.

Meet at the Lake Sylvia State Park, Kitchen by the Beach Area Plenty of projects for all skill levels! Bring water, lunch, work boots (hiking boots are great) and work gloves (leather or other durable material). Project begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs through 2PM NO pets please.
