As soon as you have signed up email Annik at annikw@gmail.com with your T-shirt size and if you want a vegetarian meal .The popular Ira Spring Trail will receive much needed trail maintenanceand repairs from last winter storms with the Foothills Branch sponsoring this work party. Volunteers enjoy camaraderie and satisfaction for a job well done, and are awarded with a barbecue, a T-shirt commemorating the event.
Come prepared ... USFS regulations require volunteers to wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots (no sandals or Tevas),long pants and long sleeved shirts and bring work gloves, your lunch and water. Hard hats will be provided along with a concise informativedemonstration on Tool Safety before heading up the trail to the different work sites guided by trained crew leaders.
