9:00 AM at Verlot Ranger Station
This is a late breaking hike. No carpooling. If you want to do the hike, show up at the Verlot Ranger Station. About 15 minutes Beyond Granite Falls. Go thru town, and turn left at the stop sign where you see a manual carwash ahead of you, across the street. Slight chance of rain in the pm. Bring rain gear, just in case. Fall colors were great 2 weeks ago. 8 foot ladder between you and the lookout at the top. NWFP required, and available at Ranger Station.
